Atlas of Carbon and Hydrogen Hubs for US Decarbonization
CCS and hydrogen are vital tools for decarbonizing our economy’s most difficult-to-decarbonize sectors. Earlier this year, the Great Plains Institute published an Atlas of Carbon and Hydrogen Hubs for US Decarbonization, identifying 14 areas across the US where the existing landscape of industrial production, geologic carbon storage potential, and commodity transport infrastructure present prime conditions for the development of #CCS and #hydrogen hubs. Coordination through CCS and hydrogen #hubs can help bring these critical climate solutions to scale.
